GeekUniversity Opens Recruitment for the Faculty of Game Design

GeekUniversity online university announced the launch of a game design department, where in 1.5 years students will learn everything about creating games (from market analysis to writing character dialogues), master interface development, UX / UI game design and reach the level of a middle-specialist.

In the course of training, they will talk about the analysis of the game design market and mechanics, teach how to write texts, work with plots, balance game entities, build an economy and monetize the game. The teachers will explain how to work with the documentation, create the structure of the game, pitch and write technical specifications. The course will also introduce the UE4 game engine and Blueprints. Students will learn how to create layouts of convenient and effective game interfaces, levels for the task in Unity and UE4, conduct pre-production of games.

The course includes design marathons, where you can work in a team and hone the acquired knowledge in practice. In the final, students  will defend their thesis and attend an interview preparation course. Graduates will be issued a diploma of professional retraining and a certificate that can be presented at an interview, and will also help in employment.

The faculty will be taught by practicing specialists and employees of large companies with specialized education and long-term work experience in this field..
